Leonid Nosyrev is Soviet and Russian artist, animator, director, screenwriter. Honored Artist of the Russian Federation (2003). In 1956 he graduated from the Fedoskino school of miniature painting, in 1961 he graduated from the courses of animators at the Soyuzmultfilm and was accepted into the studio staff. Participated in the creation of animated films: The Story of One Crime (1962), Toptyzhka - The Little Bruin (1964), Boniface's Vacation (1965), The Bremen Town Musicians (1969), Little Dingy (1970). Since 1968 Nosyrev director of the film studio "Soyuzmultfilm", was at the forefront of creating the film magazine Merry Go Round (1969) (plot 'Antoshka'). In 1975 he graduated from the evening department of Moscow State University of Lomonosov at specialty theory and art history. Since 1996 - teacher of VGIK. In 2013, was shot a documentary film about Leonid Viktorovich Nosyrev, "A fairy tale flew from the North".
