Julie O'Hora

Julie O'Hora is an Atlanta-based writer/director. Her feature, Extreme Close-Up was one of only 12 selected for the Meryl Streep and Nicole Kidman supported NYWIFT Writers Lab (2019). As of February 2020, Extreme Close-Up is in development. Her other writing credits include a $15MM feature (The Pool Boys) and a short film called Empty Nest (a Tragedy), which she also directed and produced. The Pool Boys released theatrically in 2011 and stars Matthew Lillard, Rachelle Lefevre, and Tom Arnold. Julie's alter-ego, Julie Jaret wrote the popular novella Extreme Close-Up is based on, and a handful of others, all of which you would probably hide from your mother.
