Tim O'Malley

Studied Acting and Improvisation with the legendary Del Close for two and a half years, also with Don DePollo, Bernie Sahlins, Keith Johnstone, Sheldon Patikin, Michael Gellman, & Alexander Technique with Ed Bouchard in Chicago. Is an alumnus of Chicago's, The Second City Theater (89' - 93') where he wrote and performed in 5 original revues. He is currently performing in his original critically acclaimed play: "godshow" to sold out houses in Chicago with plans for New York run. He is a Core Faculty Member at Second City Training Center Chicago. Recently wrote and produced his first short film "Reasonably Happy" with Dan Andries at WTTW Network- Chicago Recently shot the film "Shift" by NYU award winning director Jonathan Yi, SHIFT just received top honors (The Grand Jury Award) at Dances With Films, the Los Angeles film festival Tim was last seen at Sketchbook One with CollaborAction Theater appearing in "GO", had the lead role in "Hellcab" for 1 year at Famous Door Theater, and also appeared at Famous Door in A Yard of Sun. He can be seen in the films: Return to Me, Bad Meat, and Black Days and Shift.
