Hector Osuna was born in Culiacan, Sinaloa and raised in the city of Guadalajara. He graduated in 1991 from University of Guadalajara with a Bachelor Degree in Communication Sciences. He subsequently decided to go to Canada and studied Film at the Vancouver Film School. Hector began his career as a Gaffer in Vancouver, working in narrative feature films and TV commercials. After spending 5 years in Canada, he decided to return to Mexico. He earned his first narrative feature credit as a cinematographer in 1996 for EL Agujero (Mexico/Spain). His subsequent credits include, Caiman's Dream (Mexico/Spain), Punos Rosas (Mexico), Llamando a un Angel (Mexico ) and such documentaries as Anatomy of a Miracle (France), Until the last drink sweetheart (Mexico), Barrios, La raza loca (Mexico). Hector has worked in the past years also as a Director and Producer for TV commercials and Industrial films.
