Dave Orvis

Hailing from Pontiac, Michigan, USA, Dave graduated from The University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) in 1970. His creativity blossomed mid-life when he penned the suspense thriller novel Untenable Position. He has since written several feature and short screenplays as well as a dramatic TV pilot, and has produced and directed three short films. Dave also directed one of his feature screenplays adapted for the stage. Though tending toward "feel-good" feature-length dramatic stories, he has also received accolades for comedy. Dave is past-President of Mid America Filmmakers and lives with his wife, Rosemarie, in South Bend, Indiana.
