He graduated from Art Conservatory Bucuresti in 1930.In 1963, he plays first role in the movie Tudor .Other notable roles in films : Stephen the Great: Vaslui 1475 (1975), Haiducii lui Saptecai (1971) and Facerea lumii (1971).
