Tom Madden studied Theatre at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. A stage veteran who has produced and/or directed over 250 theatrical productions, he was also a playwright in residence at two theaters and has written the plays "Wake of Dreams," "Dance of the Moth" and "The Damned." He adapted his play, "The Damned," into a screenplay and the script garnered solid coverage. It is in development to be produced by Asylum Entertainment. His second screenplay, "Two Girls Kissing" a teen comedy, is under production consideration. In 2014 he went into production on the film, "Time." The 20 minute short drama is being produced by Asylum Entertainment and will enter the film festival circuit later this year. Madden wrote and is directing the film. Other scripts include the high-energy action/adventure, "Deep End" which has been developed by AEI and Zide/Perry and "Nine Lives," a non-stop action flick about a leggy feline Miami burglar. He serves as director and executive producer of Asylum Entertainment, an independent production company based in Pittsburgh.
