Alex Mackie, ACE, is a BAFTA, EMMY, and EDDIE nominated film editor. She is based in London, but also works in the US. Alex received a BAFTA nomination for Aisling Walsh's award-winning TV drama 'An Inspector Calls', starring David Thewlis, and was nominated for EMMY and ACE awards for the Golden Globe winner 'RKO 281', starring Liev Schrieber. Alex was also nominated for EMMY and ACE awards for editing the pilot for the multi-award winning series 'C.S.I. Crime Scene Investigation'. The many feature films cut by Alex include Danny Cannon's 'The Young Americans' starring Harvey Keitel, 'Judge Dredd' starring Sylvester Stallone, Carol Morley's 'Out of Blue' starring Patricia Clarkson, Agnieska Holland's 'Copying Beethoven' starring Ed Harris, Oliver Parker's 'St Trinian's' starring Rupert Everett, Thaddeus O'Sullivan's 'The Heart of Me' starring Helena Bonham-Carter. Alex's last TV drama, Aisling Walsh's 'Elizabeth is Missing', starring Glenda Jackson, won huge critical acclaim, and her latest feature film, Terence Davies' 'Benediction', starring Jack Lowden, will be released in 2021.
