Mitch Marchand is a writer, actor, comedian, producer, whom audiences remember from his appearance in the cult classic film, JUICE featuring Tupac Shakur, where he uttered the memorable "You got the Juice now, man." line. The New York City transplant relocated to Los Angeles at 21 yrs. of age and hasn't looked back. Marchand has developed a successful career as an accomplished writer/producer credited with a myriad of popular shows, including, The Wayans Bros, BET Network's "Comic View" and "Hell Date", TBS' "Funniest Wins", and MTV's newest late night show, "Safe Word." Marchand's career has seen him move across the television landscape, producing such projects as the 4 part music series special, "Legends: OWN At The Apollo" (OWN, The Oprah Winfrey Network), and writing for the celebrity competition "I Can Do That" (NBC), and the 2015 Emmy Awards (FOX). After years of writing for comedians, in 2009 while serving as Head Writer for Oscar-winning actress Mo'Nique's late night talk show, The Monique Show, Mitch also began a career as a stand up comedian and can currently be seen on the road as the feature act with Marlon Wayans. Marchand most recently served as a Staff Writer for the hit new NBC show "Marlon" starring Marlon Wayans which will begin development for Season 2 very soon. Other recent credits include, "Head Writer" for the show "Lip Sync Battle Shorties" airing on Nickelodeon, "Host Writer" for the VH-1 show "Dear Mama," and "Head Writer" for Season 3 and 4 of Lip Sync Battle. A sought-after comedic scribe with a flair for award shows and sketch comedy, Marchand's work is a staple on "kudos-casts" such as the BET Awards, Hip Hop Awards, UNCF Evening of Stars, MTV VMA's, and in 2016 joined the writing staff of the NAACP Image Awards. He has penned jokes for such A-list talent as Jamie Foxx, Anthony Anderson, Mike Epps, Kevin Hart, and Chris Rock, and created presentations for Oprah Winfrey, Tyler Perry, Quincy Jones, Kerry Washington and many more.
