Ross H. Martin grew up in Armonk, NY. After graduating from University of Hartford with a B.A. as an English major, Ross moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue the film industry. Ross worked on a bunch of TV pilots and film sets including "Return of the Living Dead III" as an art department intern. Ross then attended Columbia College-Hollywood film school in Hollywood, CA. At Columbia College, Ross produced, wrote, directed and edited short films mostly on 16mm. "The Turnaround" short film was the "Best of the Fest" of the Rochester Intl. Film Festival in 1996. After film school, Ross produced, co-wrote and co-directed a feature film dramatic comedy "Rubbernecking" starring Corbin Bernsen, Arye Gross, Renee O'Connor ('Xena, Warrior Princess") and Debra Wilson ("Mad TV"). "Rubbernecking" was at the IFP Market in NY October 2001. The film has screened at various film festivals. Ross was the co-founder of Screamfest Horror Film Festival in its first year in 2001. Ross was also the founder and festival director of Social Media Film Festival in 2012 in Las Vegas, NV. SMFF took place at the Mirage Hotel & Casino. While living in Las Vegas a few years, Ross wrote concert reviews for Vegas Seven Magazine. In 2008, Ross edited "War of the Worlds 2: The Next Wave" starring and directed by C. Thomas Howell. In 2009, Ross directed and edited a short comedy film, "The Octo Circus." In 2013, Ross produced, wrote, directed and edited a short film, "You Are What You Eat." Ross moved back to LA in 2013. In 2015, he took a job managing the film vault at Fotokem, a post-production facility. Ross worked there until March 2020 when the pandemic hit. Ross writes screenplays in various genres; comedy, drama, science fiction and horror. He belongs to writers and actors group, Deadline Junkies.
