John Clark Matthews is a director and writer, known for the ABC weekend Specials: The Mouse and the Motorcycle series (1986). He also produced and directed many stop-motion films including Frog and Toad (1994), Curious George (1983), Stanley and the Dinoasurs (1996) and many more. While at Sony Imageworks, he was lead animator on the first Stuart Little film (1999) and The Polar Express (2004).
