Brendan was born in Sydney, NSW, on October 30, 1985. He is the baby of his family, with two older sisters as well as an older brother. Brendan spent seven months traveling the world on roller-blades with his mum when he was six, going to lots of plays and musicals in London. He decided at the tender age of seven that what he would love to do more than anything else in the world was to act, sing and dance. Brendan's great-grandfather and uncle were actors, so his mum reckons it's in his blood. Brendan has been studying drama, singing, doing funk, jazz and tap dancing, and acrobatics for the last six years and attended a special performing arts school in Sydney for four years. He was also in the performance group with the entertainment school he was attending until recently, appearing at such venues as The Regent Hotel, The Sheraton Hotel, the Easter Show, and various clubs around Sydney, including charity shows for Miss Junior NSW, SIDS Red Nose Ball, Starlight Foundation, The Children's Hospital, Variety and the Epilepsy Association. Brendan especially enjoys working with any charities to do with children. Work-wise, Brendan has been quite busy, appearing in TV shows such as "Breakers," playing the role of Titch, an abused child; Water Rats (1996), It's No Secret (1997), The Getting of Wisdom (1996), Home and Away (1988) as well as three short films. He has done voice-overs for radio, and some backing work on a couple of CDs. Television commercials he has appeared in are Coke, Nike, KFC, Weet-Bix (for which he traveled to NZ for a week) Telstra, Greater Union, Lotto, NEC and The Sydney City Mission. He has also taken part in modeling, catwalk work, and photo and fashion shoots. Brendan enjoys his spare time catching up with family and friends and his pastimes include camping, swimming, trampoline, bike riding, carting, reading, listening to lots of music, and trying to learn the drums. He is an avid movie fan, and particularly likes Jodie Foster and Mel Gibson.
