Alva Marie Lacy was an actress and stunt performer. She was born on January 12, 1927 in Nickerson, Kansas, USA. Her father was Paul J. Lacy, born May 7, 1895 in Wellington, Ohio, USA; died September 29, 1967 in Van Nuys, California, USA. He was a baker, but also worked for a movie company in their film office. He had served as an Army cook from October 8, 1917 until his discharge on May 26, 1919. He received a 75% disability discharge as a private in the U.S. Army due to hemorrhoids and a rectal abscess. Her mother was Esther F. Barrett, born August 4, 1899 in Gibson, Indiana, USA and died January 7, 1974, Granada Hills, California, USA. Her family lived in Fairfax, Osage County, Oklahoma in 1920 and moved to Wichita, Kansas by 1925. Nickerson, where Alva was born in 1927, is about fifty miles northwest of Wichita. Alva was the youngest of four children. Her older brothers were: Charles W. Lacy (1916-1998), Paul J. Lacy, Jr., (1920-2001), and Darrell F. Lacy (1922-1971). She is known for her work on Party Favors (1987), Grotesque (1988) and Beastmaster 2: Through the Portal of Time (1991). She also worked as stunt woman for In Search of a Golden Sky (1984). She married George Chadares, June 30, 1956 in Los Angeles, California, USA. They divorced. Her second marriage was to Don Megowan on May 11, 1974 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. He passed away on June 26, 1981. Her third marriage was to Carl Truman Pittman on December 19, 1982 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. They were divorced in Los Angeles, California, USA on June 11, 1984. Alva passed away on April 15, 1997 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
