Craig was born in Queens and began to study acting under the late, great acting teacher and character actor William Hickey at HB STudio. He has also studied with Uta Hagen, Gene Frankel, and Austin Pendleton. Craig won a role in the Spike Lee film Clockers (1995) by sending in a videotape performing scenes out of the Richard Price novel. Craig has worked extensively in theatre and indie film in New York City. His film work includes "Simon's Lenny", "The Hermit Next Door","Failed Relationship", "The Dollhouse", "Final Exam", "American Bohemian" and "Photogenic". Craig's Theatre work includes many performances with the award winning company BonBock Productions. He is also an accomplished playwright with the works "Another Shot" and "Hollow Tips" being produced in New York City.
