Michael Mendizza

Michael has been an independent producer, director, screenwriter and author for over thirty-five years. His works focus primarily on documentaries exploring human development; how we become what we are and what prevents humanity from actualizing it true potential, themes that include parenting, education and culture. Michael's productions have involved hundreds of interviews on locations in Europe, India, North Africa, Canada and the United States. Beginning in the late 70s, Michael has been documenting and producing various projects on the life and insights of J. Krishnamurti, collaborating and directing three feature documentaries, traveling to India for interviews with Samdhong Rinpoche, the First Prime Minister of Tibet in exile and close associate of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, for the publication of Always Awakening Buddha's Realization Krishnamurti's Insight. Recently Michael authored Unconditionally Free, The Life and Insights of J. Krishnamurti, the most comprehensive survey of Krishnamurti's collected insight ever produced. In development is a dramatic biography; Chosen, The Reluctant Buddha, J. Krishnamurti, His Life, Insights and the Future of Humanity, A True Story. Recently published is The Life and Insights of Joseph Chilton Pearce, our Astonishing Capacities and Self inflected Limitations, a summary of Pearce's seven major books; Crack in the Cosmic Egg, Bond of Power, Magical Child, Evolution's End, The Biology of Transcendence, The Death of Religion and Rebirth of Spirit, and Strange Loops, Gestures of Creation.
