Just Meyer is one of those young people who moved to Amsterdam to try their luck in showbusiness. Like Hilde de Mildt and others, he started his career with the famous Tekstpierement theatre of Jos Brink and Frank Sanders. Playing roles in musicals like "Madame Arthur", "Max Havelaar" and the Dutch version of "A chorus Line" he was finally asked to replace the sick actor who performed the role of 'Zach' in the touring American cast of "A chorus line" in Zurich, Switzerland. After one week he was sent away, though, because one of the producers was afraid that the fact that it was no longer an "All American cast" would damage the show's attendance. Stagefright prevented him from joining other musicals, and he first found his way to commercials, and did the Dutch voices for annimation movies like the voice of Goofy in Gooftroop (Disney) and others. After that he was asked to play shortly in "Goede Tijden Slechte Tijden" en finally made his filmdebute in Do Not Disturb (1999).
