Daniel Mark Miller was born on September 4th, 1980, in Laconia, New Hampshire to Angela and Mark Miller. His father is a plant manager for a manufacturing facility and his mother is a homemaker. Dan was born in New Hampshire, but raised most of his life in Ohio. He has been singing and dancing since he was young. Dan is the eldest of four children from a non-musical family. When he was about 19 or 20 years old, he auditioned for the band O-Town but didn't make it. Shortly afterwards, one of Otown's group members (Ikaika) made the choice to quit and leave. Lou Pearlman and the rest of the O-town group members all picked Dan to be Ikaika's replacement. He has been writing music, touring, performing and singing with the group ever since.
