In L.A., he was introduced to director Gary Jones through mutual friend Gunnar Hansen ("Leatherface" from "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre"), with whom both Jeff and Gary had made movies. Jeff and Gary proceeded to work together on several films, including "Jolly Roger: Massacre at Cutter's Cove," "Ballistica," and "Axe Giant: The Wrath of Paul Bunyan."
