Alison Robertson is a Jersey Girl who was introduced to show business by Liberace. She pursued academic training in New York City working toward a BFA at Marymount Manhattan College and landed her first Off-Broadway production originating the role of Cynthia in, Lennon, a Life. A whirlwind of roles followed in theatres from New York to Los Angeles including Pippin,Noises Off, Grand Hotel, Wait Until Dark, and Dracula. Most fun was starring as Tina in Tony & Tina's Wedding in Philadelphia and New York. In LA she loved being a part of award winning casts such as After the Fall at the Fountain Theater and Children of the Night at Beverly Hills Playhouse. Alison's film and TV career brought her to Los Angeles and she was cast in the television hit, Dawson's Creek and M. Night Shymalan personally cast her in his successful debut, The Sixth Sense. Since that time she has appeared in many popular shows like Go On, Incredible Crew, Passions, West Wing, NCIS, The Bold and The Beautiful, Better off Ted to name a few. One of her favorite roles was Mrs. Cupertino on Nickelodeon's Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Alison is a certified professional coach (UCI, CLC), creating her own firm in 2010. As an author and columnist, Alison's advice column and articles have been featured on various sites including e-Harmony, Your Tango and 100 Best Dating Sites. As a professional speaker, Alison is fortunate enough to speak all over the Los Angeles area including Universal Studios and at AFI for the SAG Conservatory. She is excited to announce that her first book will be coming out in 2019. Alison fills her days with loving her Modern Family, which includes her three children. A wine enthusiast, if you bring her the right bottle, she'll tell you the great story of how she got one of them. Not one to shy away from a challenge, she has spent the last three years empowering and lending a hand to those who need that extra boost to move into the life they want.
