Born in San Francisco, California on November 1, 1977, he attended Loyola Marymount University in 1996. Originally an Electronic Engineer major, Sanchez made the switch to a Television Production major in 1999. Did college radio from 1996-2000. Co-hosted his first AM show with Liza Aristizabal, now a producer at the FOX News Channel in 1997-1998. Hosted his own AM radio show in 1998-1999. Got his first shot at sports radio on the air when he called his first college basketball game between LMU and San Diego State. Later on called his first baseball game between LMU and Cal State Fullerton. Named KXLU 88.9-FM Sports Director in June 1999 and named "Voice of the Lions". Play by play man for all LMU College Basketball games and select baseball games including the West Coast Conference Baseball Championship and NCAA Baseball Tournament. Graduated at LMU in May 2000. In 2007, he returned to the broadcast booth First job in the entertainment industry was at Battle Dome as a production assistant in September. Hired at Entertainment Tonight in April 2001 until September 2003. Signed with KCBS-KCAL Sports in January 2004. Hired by Bunim-Murray Productions and worked at Starting Over and The Simple Life 3: Interns. Took a two-day gig at Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition in March 2005. Rejoined Starting Over in July 2005 as Lead Logger until cutting ties with the show and Bunim-Murray Productions in February 2006 when the show had wrapped production and was ultimately cancelled. Signed with Magical Elves in April 2006. Started as a logger and then shifted focus to post production. Now serving as a Post Production Coordinator for the Emmy Nominated shows Project Runway and Top Chef as well as the new TV Guide Network show America's Next Producer. In 2008, he was named Post Coordinator for Nickelodeon's Dance on Sunset and Elves' final season producing Project Runway. In the years 2009-2011, he was Post Coordinator for Top Chef Seasons 6-8, Top Chef Masters Seasons 1-3, and Top Chef Just Desserts. Top Chef Season 6 finally won the Emmy for Best Reality Competition Show. In April 2011, he was promoted to Post Production Supervisor and oversaw Post Production for Top Chef: Just Desserts Season 2, Top Chef Masters Season 4, and the final season of The Real L Word. Sanchez left Magical Elves Inc. in September 2012 and signed with 51 Minds Entertainment in November 2012 as Post Coordinator for Below Deck, Ghost Mine, and Heroes of Cosplay
