Hamlet Sarkissian

Born in USSR. Son of Soviet dissident Vache Sarkissian.Immigrated to United States in 1990. Thesis film from Columbia College-Hollywood "Concrete Dream (1992) is in permanent collection of Guggenheim museum. Graduate of AFI, Leslie Stevens (creator of Outer limits) class (1996). Directed Sam Shepard, Patti Smith play "Cowboy Mouth" (1996) starring David Boreanaz and Susanna Voltaire. His first feature film "Camera Obscura"was featured in 22 International Film Festivals. Also writes books and music. Resides in Los Angeles with his french filmmaker wife Donatella Gomelsky-Guichard. They have three children.
