Brandon Schultz, a graduate of Morehouse College, worked in entertainment in several capacities before co-founding and serving as Producer for Street Legends Ink an animation and design studio. With an emphasis on hip-hop/global youth culture and music themed content, Street Legends Ink's clients included Disney, Nestle, TBWA/Chiat-Day, Nike, Cartoon Network, Jive Records, Paramount, and New Line Cinema among others. Brandon wrote and produced "Blood Thirsty" an animated short featured on New Line Cinema's "Blade Trinity" DVD release, wrote a 1-shot comic book for Marvel comics and Atlantic records, and co-wrote and developed the breakthrough award-winning comic book "Blokhedz" created by the illustrating twin brothers, Mark and Mike Davis. With Blokhedz as the flagship, Brandon developed original content and co-founded Street Legends Ink in 2005, a toy production, comic book producer. As president of Street Legends Ink, made licensing and sponsorship deals with several major brands including Adidas, Gatorade, Image comics, Def Jam, Carhartt clothing, and Simon & Schuster among others. In addition to this work, enjoys the opportunities he's had creating programs for high school youth, acting as a jurist for Pan African Film-Fest and speaking on writing for animation, hip hop and comics, and Black masculinity in fiction, at USC School Of Cinema/TV, Georgia State University, and Brown University. Brandon is currently co-producing the reboot of the classic Hip Hop film Krush Groove in collaboration with Warner Bros. and developing the Blokhedz animated series for television.
