Born and raised in Los Angeles. CA. Danny Scott set out to fulfill his childhood dreams of becoming a world renowned actor & entertainer. He is best known as a child actor in the 80's for playing the role of Hal, one of the love interests, on NBC'S hit television series, "The Fact's of Life" At the young age of 13, he auditioned for the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, CA. Danny was the only one of 19 talented young magicians accepted into the Magic Castle's junior program. That same year Danny performed in the main showroom giving him the distinction of being the youngest member ever to perform at The Magic Castle. At the time, no one under the age of 21 had ever been invited to perform. When Danny was 16, he was awarded the highest honor by The Magic Castle... "Junior Magician of the year". The Magic Castle then recognized Danny as a master world class magician. Today, Danny is still a regular performer at the Magic Castle. Next came the interest from all of the television talk show producers of the 80's, wanting to showcase young Danny's talent. That year he appeared on: The Tonight show, The Merv Griffin Show, The John Davidson Show, Arsenio Hall and the Dinah Shore Show to site only a few. He then spent the next three years touring the country with master illusionist David Copperfield. Major celebrities such as George Burns and Milton Berle invited 16 year old Danny to travel the country with them, performing as their opening act in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Atlantic City. In his early twenties, Danny traveled over 70% of the world performing on the internationally famous "Love Boat". A career in Las Vegas was next as Danny was sought after by multiple Las Vegas Casinos to catch the cheats as the "eye in the sky". Next, it was The Beverly Hills Police Department that was after Danny. They brought him to Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills California where he would perform a loss prevention seminar for Tiffany & Co., educating their sales staff on how to spot a thief that uses sleight of hand principles to steal jewelry. Danny and his partner, Lou Rawls Jr. developed Lou Rawls Productions, and Lou Rawls Talent Management. Specializing in managing the careers of some of Hollywood's brightest stars of music, film and television. Danny is writing a weekly television series that he created called, "The World's Greatest Magician". An American Idol type concept for magicians. The top 10 finalists will be living in the famed Harry Houdini House on Laurel Cyn, while taping the series in Los Angeles. Danny also manages the careers of many of poker's brightest stars from the World Series of Poker and the World Poker Tour. He is married to his beautiful wife, Lizzy for 18 years. They have two amazing sons, 10 and 13 that are following in dad's footsteps with young careers in magic, television and motion pictures.
