Hannu Seikkula, born in 1950, started directing on TV in the 1980s. After few years producer Spede Pasanen hired Seikkula to direct 13th part of Uuno Turhapuro movie series. The film was called "Tupla-Uuno" and it was most watched domestic film in Finland on the year of release. Seikkula also directed second movie for Pasanen in the same year; "'Onk's Viljoo näkyny?'" wasn't such a big success, but still got audience of 75,000. "Tupla-Uuno" got 245,000 viewers. In 1989 Seikkula directed TV series called "Pulttibois". It became big success and two characters from the show got their own movie, "Rampe & Naukkis - Kaikkien aikojen superpari". With small budget film got only 30,000 viewers, and Seikkula returned to television. In 1994 Seikkula made his last feature film so far. "Uuno Turhapuron veli" was 18th part of Uuno Turhapuro movie series and the least successful with only audience of 20,000.
