Adam began his career in London, working on music videos and commercials. He moved back to the US and became a freelance editor working on independent films Loser, The New Gods, and music videos for such bands as Coldplay, Mick Jagger, Blind Melon and Alanis Morrisette. In 2008 Adam directed his first feature, Black Crescent Moon, starring William Atherton, Gil Bellows, Charles Napier and Melora Walters. The success of the feature led to directing the short documentary The Witness: From the Balcony of Room 306, which earned Academy Award® and Emmy nominations as well as numerous awards on the film festival circuit. Adam's next film, Dead in the Room, premiered at the Slamdance Film Festival in 2011 and went on to screen at numerous top tier festivals including the Nashville Film Festival, the Woodstock Film Festival, the LA International Short Film Festival, the Hollyshorts Film Festival, the San Diego Film Festival and the Breckenridge Film Festival where it won the Best Short Drama award. Adam is a Partner at Rock, Paper, Scissors, where he has earned numerous editing awards, including a Gold Clio, several Bronze Clios and multiple AICE and AICP awards. Adam's latest film is Ubuntu, his feature documentary debut.
