Pierre Perea

Perea is a whirlwind of talent: originally from New York, culturally diverse - giving him great range and depth from which he draws, along with decades of work theatre, film, voice over and award winning performances. Pierre joined the acting cirque much later than most. First movie experience with Candice Bergen in Mayflower Madam and gained global exposure on Drop Dead Diva as a Co-Star with Tony Goldwyn of 'Scandal' - directed by Michael Grossman and also Guest starred on Necessary Roughness with Director James Hayman. Other film successes came alongside Rebecca DeMornay, Randy Quaid and Michael O'keefe in The Slugger's Wife. His extreme diversity was recognized when he was the only talent invited back to 'In the Heat of the Night' by Fred Silverman and Carroll O'Connor as two different Characters in the same season. Having been on over 200 film projects, working with noteworthy celebs. Co starred with the late James Avery of Fresh Prince, on HoneyBee, working with Barbara Hershey, Jane Alexander, Michael Nouri, the late Carrol O'Connor and on set with many others including Salma Hayek, Stephen Baldwin, Bill Conti and Gabrielle Anwar. His chiseled features, directability and charismatic charm attracted other agencies and he was into top fashion magazines and live runway shows for GQ , Calvin Klein, International Male, working with Elite, L'Agence, Casablanca and Ford Agencies and then dove into acting - studying 3 disciplines of acting and accepted in Master Classes at Strasberg Film & Theatre in Manhattan, NYC. and invited to a scholarship by the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts...he then worked on Quiet Victory, the Charlie Wedermeyer Story, as Young Charlie with Michael Nouri and Pam Dawber. OFF BROADWAY, Jewish Theatre, Alliance Theatre , original ensemble with award winning shows by the Actors Express, studied and performed with the Shakespeare Company and on the big stage at the Fabulous FOX Theatre in an opera called 'Tosca' working along with Jay Lesinger director of the Atlanta Opera and Maestro William Fred Scott. Living only blocks away from Strasberg Film and Theatre School at Union Square in Manhattan. During his tenure at Strasberg, he has worked with amazing and legendary teachers, and performed in many Off-Broadway productions including Speed the Plow and Curse of the Upper Class. Pierre has studied and mastered hard and soft Martial Art forms, 3rd degree Black Belt, close quarter combat, boxing and weaponry. He is an avid horseman, a proficient Polo player and is musically self taught - enjoying acoustic guitar, writing ballads and playing piano, harmonica.
