A native of Macedonia, Pavlina studied Public Relations in Paris and worked as news producer for CBS News and as a field producer for the USA Cable Networks. An independent film producer since 1986, she has produced two feature films, The Magic Snowman (a children Christmas tale endorsed by UNICEF and dedicated to the world's children, 1987) and Happy Hell Night (a supernatural thriller, 1991) and has recently completed two feature- length documentary films. Ms. Proevska is reduxing the Magic Snowman film for today's children's audiences, by reediting and adding CGI to the original Magic Snowman film. She is in pre-production of "My Heart Is No Longer An Orphan" - a half-hour docudrama to be shot in Montenegro and Macedonia in late 2020. Other projects include The Magic Snowman II and Borders in Heaven, a romantic comedy scheduled for production in New York and Macedonia in late summer 2021. She is raising finances for two more, fully developed projects that ready for production, the political drama Rice, Milk and Stilettos and the animated feature "Silian, the Stork." She is the Executive Director of the Macedonian Arts Council, a nonprofit organization based in New York that promotes multicultural dialogue. Under the auspices of the Arts Council she had also produced the biographical documentary My American Pilgrimage. She is also the creative director and producer of the musical albums 'PARTINGS' and 'LILTS', both consisting of Macedonian folk melodies arranged into world music compositions. The third album in this musical triptych is entitled "IN DISTRESS" and celebrates life of Macedonian women. Ms. Proevska is fluent in five languages and lives and works in New York.
