Sometimes called "The Clown Prince of Boxing." His nickname "Maromero" (tightrope walker) derives from his growing up in a traveling circus in Mexico. His record is 79-14, retiring in 2003. His son Jorge Jr. ("The Mouse") is 19-1 as of March 2008.
