Dorothy was incredibly close to her father, Mario and grew up visiting sets with Al Pacino, DeNiro, Brando and the rest of the "Godfather" cast. Her writing and directing skills were guided by her loving father's eyes and ears. Although her career was hampered by her size and gender, her talent and incredible heart have always persevered. Deeply saddened by her father's death, Puzo left her Studio City condo of many years to return to the East Coast. Weight, unfortunately, hampered Dorothy's ability to attain the goals she set.
