Elena Rainova

This incredibly talented actress was born in 1945 in the family of Kosta Raynov- on of the founders of the Bulgarian Operetta and his wife Maria. She and her sister Alexandra were raised with the love of art, music and books. Right after graduating from high school Elena was admitted into the National academy of stage and film arts in Sofia. She got her first movie role in her second year of studies- as Bistra in "Broken home". She graduated from the academy in the class of Metodi Andonov and Stefan Sarchadjiev- two notable Bulgarian directors. Right after graduating the academy she started doing what was always her passion- stage acting. During her extensive career she went to star in over a 200 plays and more than 40 movies.
