Adrienne Chi-en Telemaque was raised in New York City. Half Haitian and half Chinese, Telemacque's mother is author Eleanor Wong Telemaque. Trained as a classical ballet dancer, Telemaque's career started with appearances on Italian TV show 'Fantastico' before a role on the New York stage in 'South Pacific' In 1990, Telemaque was cast as Desiree, a sidekick to the villainous Cesar Faison in the long-running daytime soap 'General Hospital' Her character was killed off in May 1990 and she subsequently appeared back on the New York stage in Shogun: The Musical from Nov 1990 until Jan 1991. Following her stage and screen career, Telemaque began work as a physical therapist.
