Born May 25th 1950, Los Angeles, Ca. Now living in Anaheim, Ca. Taylor is best known as an endlessly inventive and prolific singer/songwriter. His many musical identities include the groundbreaking Southern California underground bands Daniel Amos (aka da, DA and D.A.) and Swirling Eddies as well as the more traditional combo Lost Dogs. Taylor also acts as producer and mentor for many younger bands. In addition, Taylor writes and performs under his own name, continuing with his July 2000 release "Avacado Faultline" (Silent Planet). Taylor's soundtrack work is usually done in association with Douglas TenNapel, director of "Mothman (2000)." Married to Debi with two children, Andrew and Noelle.
