Jon Trapnell

Jay spent his childhood in Arlington, VA growing up an only child, traveling the world with his mother and father, a U.S. Federal Employee. His parents once owned a home on Mallorca, Spain where he spent many a summer. He attended The College of William & Mary, but left before graduating to pursue a career in film. He once dated Glenn (Wade) Close's roommate while in college. He resided in Toluca Lake, CA and for many years headed a weekly meeting of the "Chowder Society" and "Starving Science Fiction Writer's Society." He was employed at Warner Bros Studios for over 20 years, and retired. He passed away in his sleep August 20th, 2015 due to heart failure. He is interred at Pierce Brothers' Valhalla Mortuary.
