Delphine was born in Oakland, California. She is an award-winning professional recording artist and works as an artist-in-residence at schools and cultural education programs. She has studied with acting coach Mary Daisy. Delphine continues to work on her craft with community-based productions with plans of doing more film and television work in the future. In the meantime, she also performed as a voice over artist for commercial radio and educational multimedia. Delphine has signed with the Canyon Records music label with which she has recorded three projects. She has been named "Best Debut Artist" by The Native American Music Association. She has also been a finalist for the International New Age Voice music award, and a first-round finalist for a Grammy music award. She earned her Bachelor of Science in biology degree from Arizona State University. She is currently an outstanding graduate student at the University of Arizona. Upon graduating with her master's degree, she plans on working to earn her doctorate degree. Her academic honors include: National Bausch & Lomb Science and Mathematics Award, Starbucks Scholars, Tau Beta Pi Academic Excellence Award, and the Yorke and Ann Bannard Award.
