Scott Trost

Scott Trost received his Masters of Fine Arts degree from The Goodman Theater School in Chicago. Trost trained with Anthony Hopkins at the National Theatre in London. Trost continued his studies at Playhouse West in Los Angeles and was invited to join the faculty. He has conducted classes across the United States and in the UK, France, Germany, Russia, Greece, South Africa, Azerbaijan, Hong Kong, China, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines. He is co-author of All You Need to Know About the Movie & TV Business published by Simon & Schuster and De Tree a We, a biography of the life of Sanford Meisner. Trost has acted in multiple stage productions, films and TV shows. Trost has also produced, directed and written several films and plays. He is the director of the Meisner Institute, a research and training center for the performing arts.
