Linn Ullmann is the daughter of Liv Ullmann and Ingmar Bergman. Born in 1967, Linn made her screen debut within her mother's womb in the only horror film Bergman ever made, Hour of the Wolf (1968) (aka "Hour of the Wolf" (1968)), made while Liv was very pregnant. Linn also appeared in several films as a child. Eventually, after studying at NYU, she became a literary critic and, now, a novelist. Her first novel, entitled "Før du sovner" (Before You Sleep) debuted to critical acclaim in 1999. She is married, with one son and two stepchildren.
