Date of birth : 10/10/1968
City of birth : Gießen, Hesse, West Germany

He grew up in Wiesbaden. After completing school with a high school diploma, Türck began an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in 1990. He then studied journalism from 1992 to 1995. Türck's passion for the entertainment industry was awakened early. He got his start in the media business during his student days, when he worked as a presenter for Radio Salü and Radio RPR from 1993 to 1994. In the same year, Türck moved to RTL Hessen Life as a presenter for Hessenrekord. He gained his first greater fame through presenting the daily game show "Dalli Dalli" on ZDF, which he accompanied until 1996. In mid-1996, Türck took over the moderation of the programs "Take That Special" and "Deutsches Fest" on ZDF. He was also seen in front of the film camera for the first time in 1996 for Sat.1 in the series "Kurklinik Rosenau". In 1997, Türck took part in the ZDF film production "Men like us". Other productions from 1997 include "Der Fake" for the VOX channel and "Ein Herz für Kinder" for ARD, where he appeared as a co-presenter. In 1998 he appeared in front of the camera for the ZDF film "Once Heaven and Back". In the same year, 1998, Türck got his own daily talk show on Pro7 under the title "Andreas Türck". As part of this production, the talk show host developed into one of the most popular presenters on private television. Following the American model, he discussed a wide variety of life topics with guests. During this time, Türck was seen as the presenter of the programs "Wünsche Werden Wahr" (1999) and the weekly format "Love Stories", which he moderated until 2002. In the same year, the daily recording of the "Andreas Türck" program ended. In 2001, Türck released his first single CD as a singer together with Polydor under the title "Shining Star". Türck hit the headlines because of allegations of alleged rape made against him. The broadcaster Pro7 responded in 2004 by granting him a leave of absence and shortly afterwards by terminating the talk show host. In the subsequent trial, which began on August 9, 2005 at the Frankfurt regional court, Türck's public reputation was badly affected. According to the indictment, Türck is said to have forced a 26-year-old bank clerk to have oral sex on August 25, 2002 after visiting a disco in Frankfurt am Main. After the allegations were delayed, the public prosecutor filed charges in May 2004. The 27th Criminal Chamber of the Frankfurt Regional Court acquitted Türck on September 8, 2005 because "the accusation of rape could not be established with the certainty necessary for a conviction."
