Mikki Val was born in Flint, Michigan. She fell in love with acting at the age of 15 when she attended Weist Barron Commercial school in Detroit, Michigan. From that revelatory moment she decided to pursue acting as a career. After graduating high school Mikki came to Los Angeles and attended the prestigious Inner City Cultural Center for Performing Arts where she honed her acting, singing, and dancing skills for the roles she would soon undertake. Carroll O'Connor gave Mikki her first speaking role on the hit series "In the Heat of the Night". Imbued with confidence, Mikki went on to capture high profile/leading roles in "Out All Night" with Patti Labelle, "Poetic Justice" with Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur. She also had various roles to follow in television and film such as "House Party 3", Silk Stalkings, The Young and the Restless", and many, many more. Mikki is also a talented composer and singer whose title song "Were you Thinking of Me" can be heard on the "Night Vision" soundtrack, a film starring and directed by Fred Williamson. She also received a Proclamation and Key to her city Flint, Michigan from Mayor Woodrow Stanley in 2001 making September 4th officially "Mikki Val Day". She completed the lead role of Chili Peppa, in the film "Rhapsody", where she stars opposite Glenn Plummer, along with Ice-T, Freda Payne, and Cindy from EnVogue. Mikki can also be seen opposite Bernie Casey in "On the Edge". She completed the role of Capt. Connie Richards in the film titled "Vegas Vamps". Mikki co-stars opposite Daniel Baldwin, Glenn Plummer, Tiny Lister,and Jaqueline Fleming. Mikki had several projects released such as "Miracle Run" where she is co-starring, opposite Mary Louise Parker, "The Brooke Ellison Story" directed by the late Christopher Reeves where she plays opposite Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and John Slatterly, "Searching for David's Heart, where she plays a volley ball coach, and "Tournament of Dreams" opposite Debbie Allen. Mikki is also playing the role in the film "Just My Luck" starring Lindsay Lohan where she plays opposite Lindsay!
