Originally enthralled and awed by the legendary Chick Hearn, voice of the Los Angeles Lakers, Sam decided by the age of 5 that he wanted to go into broadcast. Thankfully, as he grew, his voice progressed with him and was able to do impressions, characters and announcer voices with little to no effort. In High School, he was chosen to do the morning announcements as the communications coordinator in a landslide of an election. In college, he started as a writer on the local late night talk show, immediately moved up to announcer, then head writer, then bartender (co-host)/announcer, then right on up to hosting the show. Branching out from there, He appeared on The Chapman Report as a reporter, and co-hosted C-U Tonight (1999), a news magazine show. Getting back to his dream, He called play-by-play for Time-Warner cable in Orange while televising Chapman University football for several home games, and one Chapman University Men's basketball game. After college, Sam decided to start up a voice-over career, and will be able to be reached at a website at a future time.
