Patricia Warren was born Patricia Anne Allen in Brooklyn, New York nine months and one day after her parents, John and Patricia Allen, were married. She is the oldest of five daughters: Patti, Bobbie, Debbie, Susan and Andrea. She was attracted to the entertainment field for as long as she can remember. As a very young child she remembers memorizing and performing (all the parts) from the forest scene when Princess Aurora meets Prince Philip for the first time, in Walt Disney's animated film "Sleeping Beauty." As a teenager, she started her professional career in New York City as a commercial model and soon after started auditioning for television, film and theatrical roles. In NYC, she studied with Bill Hickey at HB Studios; and Yevgeny Lanskoy at the Stella Adler School of Acting. After many years, although she had some minor successes, she decided that these accomplishments were not enough to entice her to continue to beat the pavement looking for work as an actress. During this time frame she also worked as an associate producer for a few live concerts at prestigious venues in Manhattan, such as Carnegie Hall and Town Hall. In 1990 she offered her services to a not-for-profit organization located in the Catskill Mountains, where she worked in the production office, that broadcast global satellite teaching events. This is when she immersed herself and fell in love with production as a calling, and she worked there for a decade. In 2001, she relocated to Los Angeles, the city where she always resonated with and feels like she came home at last. She studied writing screenplays under the tutelage of the brilliant, Syd Field. While working as assistant to an executive producer on the television show, "NUMB3RS," she wrote her first spec script and was encouraged to continue... which, of course, she did and does.
