Shira-Lee Shalit

Shira-Lee was hand-picked out of 12,000 filmmakers by Steven Spielberg, as one of 12 finalists for the Fox TV show, ON THE LOT. Named by Shoot! Magazine as one of the industry's crop of New Directors to watch in 2009. Born in South Africa, Shira-Lee grew up in Houston, Texas where she was chosen as one of 3 high school seniors in the U.S. to win the prestigious Presidential Scholar of the Arts Award. A Finalist in The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts Talent Search. Graduate of Columbia University's Graduate Film School and NYU Undergrad.
