Janet Sherkow is an Actress, Voiceover Artist, and an Audiobook Narrator. She received her BFA cum laude in Theatre, and MA in Speech & Mass Communications. Janet has appeared in several Television Movies, and recently co-starred in "The Scholarship" on Zeus Network. Having started acting and modeling at the age of 3, Janet has also performed in countless theatre productions. At the age of 6, she worked alongside Patricia Morison in "The King and I". Starring in leading roles for a variety of theatre productions throughout high-school, Janet continued her performance studies as a Theatre Major at the University of Miami. While achieving her Master's degree at Marquette University, she also starred in the lead role of the University's comedy production that year. After graduating, Janet moved to New York to study under Lee Strasberg and Paul Curtis. From there, Janet traveled across the country, acting and modeling in Miami, North Carolina, Milwaukee, and Chicago, until she landed in Los Angeles. Janet began her voice acting career as a Top40 Radio Disc Jockey, and has worked as a voiceover talent for a variety of commercials. She has also been looping movies for 20 years, recording ADR on over 30 projects. Janet is based in Los Angeles, and is represented by Maria Chaidez, NCA (Nancy Chaidez Agency) - (323) 467-8954.
