He got involved with filmmaking during his studies at MTE, working on István Szabó's Meeting Venus (1991). While still in university, he made a short film series for Hungarian Television. He started working for Focusfilm in 1989, first as production manager, then as an executive producer. Besides making a number of foreign commercials, he made a documentary about the historical changes in Hungary entitled 'Hungary '89'. From 1991, as the Managing Director of Teleshop Ltd., he was in charge of doing an hour's worth of televised material per month. In 1992, he became producer and head of production of Róbert Pajer's Pirouette (1993). In 1992, he returned to Focusfilm, where he made commercials and short films for the magazine program, Hello, World! on Hungarian Television. As the founder of Laurinfilm in 1993, he started working with promising scripts, together with Eleonóra Peták. Among these scripts were _Szél (1994)_ and Glamour (1999). In 1995, he produced Ildikó Szabó's _Csajok (1995)_. The film was selected into competition at the Berlin Film Festival in 1996. In 1996, he made a feature with the co-production of MTV-FMS entitled Waltz D8 (1996), directed by Gábor Oláh J. He is the producer of Frigyes Gödrös's Glamour (1999). The film received the prize for Best Film, Best Producer and Best Sound at the 31st Hungarian Film Festival and was selected into the Panorama section of the Berlin Film Festival in 2000. From July 2000, he was the CEO of the Mafilm Group. Under his leadership, Mafilm took part in Spy Game (2001), directed by Tony Scott. In May 2001, he returned to Laurinfilm. He was the Hungarian line producer on I Spy (2002), directed by Betty Thomas.
