The DeMarco Sisters began their career in the mid-1930s when the three oldest (Anne, Jeanette and Gloria) appeared in film shorts including "Rah, Rah, Radio" (1935, Vitaphone), "Home Run on the Keys" (1937, Vitaphone) and "Winner Lose All" (1938, Educational). The three young DeMarco sisters also appeared regularly on local and national radio at that time. One of those radio appearances would be on The Fred Allen Program, but it was a decade later that all five DeMarco sisters became series regulars on The Fred Allen radio show.
