Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Tre grew up in front of the camera. At the age of 12 with requisite good looks and plenty of on-screen charisma, Tre landed the lead role in the television series 'Spirit Bay' and has continued to work steadily in the Film and T.V industry for the past 30 years. Tre brings a youthful and very natural look to the screen that compliments his talent as an Actor. Well known in the Toronto Film/T.V industry, Tre has proved himself as an established Actor that delivers every time. Facing an A.C.T.R.A strike in 2001, Tre decided to cross over into the new world of reality T.V and auditioned for Canada's first reality Show U8TV: The Lofters. After a lengthy auditioning process Tre beat out thousands and was chosen one of eight lucky young Canadians that will make up the cast of this new reality show. U8TV: The Lofters followed the lives of eight Canadians living in a downtown Toronto loft while they interacted, produced and hosted their own web based shows. The loft was wired with 28 cameras that filmed them 24/7 and a full camera crew followed them wherever they went for one full year. Produced by Alliance/Atlantis and airing on Life Network, U8TV: The Lofters was a smash hit. The show was number one on the Network and Tre became a Canadian household name. After a very successful year in the Loft and becoming the most popular cast member, doors opened and Tre had the opportunity to become an on camera personality and host. Tre decided that Acting was his priority and dove right back into his first love. Tre is an animal lover and a lifelong pet owner. With time to dedicate Tre decided to start fighting for animal rights and welfare by becoming an Animal Cruelty Investigator for the Toronto Humane Society. Tre quickly rose up the ranks becoming the Lead Investigator and overseeing all Cruelty Investigations in the City of Toronto. Tre combined his on camera talents with his passion for animals and became the spokesperson for the animal welfare movement frequently appearing in this role as a regular guest on CP24's Animal Housecalls and was seen as the go to person for anything animal related in the news. In August 2007, Tre made national headlines when he smashed open the window of a locked car to rescue a dog that was in imminent danger of dying from heat exhaustion. Smith arrested and charged the dog's owner with Animal Cruelty under the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused plead guilty and Tre became a hero to animal rights activists across Canada. Tre is now a married father of 3 and continues acting alongside a busy professional career and family.
