In 2006, Vaughn developed pilots for episodic content for exclusive distribution on early mobile phones called "mobisodes" for Tony To, co-executive producer of HBO's "Band of Brothers." That same year, he wrote and produced short film content for Microsoft's entertainment division: projects "Saga of the Saint" and "Paper Trail." Vaughn also wrote and directed a catalog of short films produced for Dunkin Donuts with the NFL, NBA, and Major League Baseball for the NY Jets, NY Giants, NY Mets, NY Yankees, and the NJ Nets. Vaughn's early career blossomed in 1999 when he co-founded SER International Corp., a Spanish- language media agency. SER's clients included Sony Music (Discos), Univision Music Group, EMI Latin, Fonovisa Records, and others. While leading SER, Vaughn was best known for his work with artist Pilar Montenegro whose number one Billboard Chart hit "Quitame Ese Hombre" which holds a Billboard honor as one of the longest-lasting number one tracks. Vaughn also was charged with the creative execution of Jennifer Peña's "Vamos Al Mundial," the official song of the FIFA World Cup written by Rudy Pérez.
