Davina Smith is a member of the Dine' (Navajo) tribe. Originally from Monument Valley, UT, her start in film was at a young age and appeared in motion picture films such as "Geronimo (1993- Columbia Pictures/ 1993-TNT), and Larger than Life (1996- United Artists)". Shortly after, Smith became interested in filmmaking, specifically documentaries. Some of her work includes The Long Walk; Tears of the Navajo (2008), We Shall Remain- Navajo (2009), and Unspoken- America's Native American Boarding Schools (2016).
