Mark Soulard has directed more than 300 hours of broadcast television. He has directed movies, television series, documentaries, and award winning specials for the CBC, TVA, Fox Family Channel, Nickelodeon, France's TF1 and M6, MTV Europe, RAI, PBS, and YTV. For 5 years in a row Mark Soulard was nominated as Best Director at the Gemeaux Awards, winning three awards, one for Best Director and two for Best Show in the Musical/Variety category. He has also won a Felix Award. Mark Soulard has also directed two feature films, Shadow of the Bear (1997) (TVA International) and "The Tale of the Silver Sight" (Cinar/Nickelodeon). Other directing credits include multiple television episodes of "Are You Afraid of the Dark?" (Cinar/Nickelodeon); "The Adventures Of Shirley Holmes" (Credo Entertainment/YTV), Big Wolf on Campus" and "Student Bodies" (Telescene Film Group/ Fox Family Channel). In addition, Mark Soulard directed over 50 commercials for clients like Reno-Depot, Dunkin' Donuts and Canadian Tire and 25 music videos, including 10 music videos for international singing star, Roch Voisine. When not on the set directing, Mark Soulard develops concepts for television shows and writes screenplays. Recently, he has optioned a historical documentary series to a major Montreal production company.
