Desimir Stanojevic

Desimir Stanojevic was born on October 7, 1950 in Nis, Serbia. He played at the National Theater in Nis from 1970 to 1990 and from 1991 at the Terazije Theater in Belgrade. He is the founder of the Youth Theater "Third Half" in Nis. He is credited with performing the first musical in the history of the Nis Theater, "Violinist on the Roof". He is also credited with staging the musical "Gypsies Flying in the Sky" at Nis National Theater (directed by him). His most popular role was the character Vukasin Golubovic from Serbian TV series "Srecni ljudi" that aired from 1993 to 1996. He passed away on March 10, 2020 at his home in Belgrade.
