Bill Sullivan

Bill Sullivan's a professional voice artist & narrator from Los Angeles. Since arriving in Japan in 1993, he has been the mainstay voice for many news, documentary & educational programs on Japanese Public TV while also being the voice of choice for a wide range of clients in the corporate world. In Los Angeles, he combined his love of outdoor sports w/ the vocal gifts his father nurtured from a young age. Already a disc jockey at 19, he pursued radio announcing & promotions at commercial stations in Los Angeles, Long Beach, Portland & later in Hayama at Shonan Beach FM. He Produced commercials for ocean-related companies as Quiksilver, Katin and Body Glove, later becoming involved in sports marketing. He became public relations director for Body Glove International, U.S. Pro Tour of Surfing (PSAA) & the U.S. Pro Tour of Snowboarding (PSTA). He originally came to Japan on a promotional trip for the PSTA in 1991. Ten years later, snowboarding was chosen as an official Olympic sport. His first job for Japanese TV was w/ Yasashii Business Eigo in 1994. Since then, he has worked to provide clients w/ an unmatched level of service & dependability, resulting in 2 decades of dedicated voice work. With well over 7,500 recordings to his credit in Japan alone, he has established himself as one of the top recognized voice talents in the industry.
